Wellington singer Brooke Fraser came from nowhere this year with the single "Better", and is now a household name. Here are 20 Things about Brooke Fraser...
1. Brooke's debut album has just been released. It's called "What to do with Daylight".
2. Brooke is just 19 years of age.
3. Brooke wrote all 11 tracks on the album and played instruments on each song.
4. Brooke's first single "Better" exploded onto the music charts, peaking at #3. Her second single "Life line" is out now and has been getting loads of airplay lets hope it goes to #1.
5. On the video for Better, Temuera Morrison played Brookes dad.
6. Some of Brookes music influences include Marvin Gaye and James Taylor and John Mayer and India Arie.
7. Brooke can play many music instruments including the piano, which she began studying at seven.
8. Brooke can also play the guitar, which she taught herself at 16.
9. Brooke's father is All Black legend Bernie Fraser.
